EXILE #3
Judge Sam: “It’s Exile time again!
The Spies 3 Opening Video has been posted! You can watch it on YouTube here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUUlsXUAxRk or download it here: st67.startlogic.com/~muse-cre/sam/spies3movie.wmv
If you haven’t posted your answers to your own personal Exile questions in the Burg, be sure to do that at your earliest convenience.
This is the biggest Exile Spies has ever seen, with 22 people voicing their opinions on who they think is a Spy. In Spies 3: The Collective bigger means better, with more people and more Spies than ever before. In that tradition, I can now announce that Episode 4 will be the Biggest Episode Ever, in more ways than one! Normally two people are eliminated per Episode, but that won’t be the case in Episode 4. But before we can get to our additional elimination (tonight!) we must first get to our regularly scheduled elimination. There’s even more than that in store for the Burg in Episode 4, so keep an eye on Spies.
Sam stands up resolutely, picks up the voting shoebox, and begins walking amongst the townspeople. One by one, they drop their vote into the shoebox. Some are satisfied with their choice, others are nervous and unsure. Everyone - Citizens and Spies alike - are praying that their name does not come up.
Judge Sam: "All of the votes have been received and verified, and a result has been decided. Let the Exiling begin."
We will start tonight with penalty votes:
Sujata, Sujata, by Sujata for not posting 2 conversations in Episode 3.
Claire, Claire, by Claire for unsuccessfully, unwittingly attempting to cheat in Challenge #1.
Sujata, Sujata, Sujata, by Sujata for not voting in Episode 3.
Jordan, Jordan, Jordan, by Jordan for not voting in Episode 3.
Normally cheating would mean instant removal from the game, but because it was minor, the other person did not share information, it wouldn’t have affected the results, and Claire just apparently did not read the instructions I have decided just to award two self votes. Jordan posted in the Burg 31 minutes before votes were due, yet he didn’t vote. Sujata hasn’t logged online in a week due to Internet problems.
First real vote:
Judith, by Carrie.
That’s one vote for Judith.
Second vote:
Carrie, by Judith.
Carrie, by Matthew.
Two votes for Carrie, one vote for Judith plus a bunch of penalty votes.
Fourth vote:
Judith, by Miles.
Judith, by Raphael.
Judith, by Bebe.
Four votes Judith, two votes Carrie.
Seventh vote is next
Carrie, by Claire.
Carrie, by Arthur.
Carrie, by Reicheru.
Carrie, by Brooks.
Six votes Carrie, four votes Judith.
The Eleventh vote is for:
Judith, by Trina.
Judith, by Jessica.
Judith, by Bruce.
Judith, by Shane.
Judith, by Taylor.
Nine votes Judith, six votes Carrie, five votes Sujata, three votes Jordan, two votes Claire.
Sixteenth vote goes to:
Carrie, by Jennipher.
Nine votes Judith, seven votes Carrie.
Judith, by Jack.
Judith, by Tenchi.
Judith, by Anneliese.
Judith, Judith, Judith by Judith for being successfully Accused three times.
Final Vote Count:
15: Judith
7: Carrie
5: Sujata
3: Jordan
2: Claire
Judith - You have been Exiled from the Burg under suspicion of being a Spy. It is now your time to leave. Goodbye.
Judge Sam: "This was a close vote, and a tough Exile. I enjoyed the character of Judith and you played it very uniquely. I enjoyed your confessionals-as-letters and how you played the game. It was a pleasure hosting you and I’m sorry it had to end at this stage. Thank you for being an active part of this game and for posting everything you did in your confessional, I enjoyed it and after the game everyone will too. Something must have been afoot with your unfortunate Exile.”
Judith: Please post Final Words in your confessional immediately.
Judith takes one last look at their former friends. Saddened by being suspected of a Spy by the people they trusted, they take their supplies and compass and head out into the wilderness, disappearing into the sunset. You will never see them again.
It is now time to find out if this person was truly a Spy. If they were, we will rejoice in becoming one step closer to safety and security. If they were not, we just cast out an innocent soul. Someone just like us. Someone who wanted to eliminate the Spies just as badly as we do.
Judith was a....
Citizen
Judge Sam: “A shame. Another Exile, another miss. I don’t know how much more of these we can take. Maybe we should just do the opposite of what we've been doing at this point haha. This one hit particularly hard, especially after the last two Exiles. 12 people must of really thought Judith was a Spy… but 12 people were wrong.
There’s no one who can help the Citizens win but yourself. With effort, evidence, investigation, conversation, and smarts, you can find the inconsistencies and locate the Spies. They’re out there, and they are quivering in their shorts, frightened that they will slip up just once and that you will find them. It only takes one wrong word for a Spy to blow their cover.
I have more news. Sujata has been plucked from the game and is no longer a part of the Burg. She was a Citizen. She has not logged on in a week. I have been in personal contact with her and she has lost her Internet service. Unfortunately, she was not willing to get onto someone else’s computer to contribute to the game until her Internet was fixed, but I suppose there could be situations I am not aware of that could prevent this. Anyway, she’s gone, and the game will continue.
Imprisonment #4 is coming up quick, this Sunday at 7:00 PM CST, May 20th. That’s a day earlier than normal. Usually in Spies the game goes downtime, then Imprisonment + Exile real quick. That has its advantages, but I want to try another setup. So while the Imprisonment is one day earlier and on Sunday, the Exile will remain on Tuesday, May 22nd.
Tick tock.
Before beginning a Hunt, it is wise to ask someone what you are looking for before you begin looking for it.
