EXILE #4.5
Judge Sam: “We’ve gotten a second chance in Episode 4 to catch a Spy. Unfortunately, we've had four previous failures in the last 19 days. Things are looking grim in the Burg, with Spies taunting us left and right. They're at it again with this new video released to me tonight: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KgTvzaAt08
The whole situation is kind of funny, if you think about it in a sarcastic, cynical kind of way. It’s like one of those situations where everything is so bad and so working against you that you can’t help but let out a sardonic chuckle. Hopefully our laughter will be of a different note after tonight’s Exile results are revealed, but based on our previous record, I wouldn’t really get your hopes up.
The good news is although 8 straight Citizens have met their demise... not a single one has had a Citizen’s special ability! There may be many useful powers still out there amongst the Citizens, so hopefully those will come into play soon and help us in our war against the Spies.
Some questions to think and talk about in the upcoming days: When is “bandwagoning” okay? Is it better than having votes spread out over half of the Burg? Which gives the most evidence and which is most effective for the Citizens to achieve a majority vote against a Spy? Is it okay to throw away your vote? Those answers may help us come closer to catching a Spy. Let's try and do that tonight.
Sam stands up resolutely, picks up the voting shoebox, and begins walking amongst the townspeople. One by one, they drop their vote into the shoebox. Some are satisfied with their choice, others are nervous and unsure. Everyone - Citizens and Spies alike - are praying that their name does not come up.
Judge Sam: "All of the votes have been received and verified, and a result has been decided. Let the Exiling begin."

Tenchi deliberately did not cast a vote this round. It is STRONGLY recommended that you do not deliberately self-vote. The entire point of the game is to vote at Exile.

Carrie- You have been Exiled from the Burg under suspicion of being a Spy. It is now your time to leave. Goodbye.
Judge Sam: "It’s tough to see you go Carrie. I know you enjoyed the game, well, except all those parts where everybody suspected you all the time. Your confessionals were informative and insightful. I admire your resilience, your perseverance, your activity, your wit, and your personality. I very much enjoyed having you play the game and would love to have you play another game (which, hopefully, isn’t as depressing as this one!). I think that picture of Carrie is my absolute favorite so I will be sad to see it in black and white lol. Thank you again and I will talk to you soon.”
Carrie: Please post Final Words in your confessional immediately.
Carrie takes one last look at their former friends. Saddened by being suspected of a Spy by the people they trusted, they take their supplies and compass and head out into the wilderness, disappearing into the sunset. You will never see them again.
It is now time to find out if this person was truly a Spy. If they were, we will rejoice in becoming one step closer to safety and security. If they were not, we just cast out an innocent soul. Someone just like us. Someone who wanted to eliminate the Spies just as badly as we do.
Carrie was a....
You guessed it… Citizen.
Judge Sam: “Yeah… Um… Hmm.
Friday is an official Day Off away from the game – we all need it! Saturday will be a slow day but the game will be back on. Not sure if the Imprisonment will be Sunday or Monday night. The Exile will most likely be Tuesday night however. Let’s take the Memorial Weekend to reflect on recent events and gather our own personal thoughts together. The problem looks unsolvable, but there’s a solution out there and you can work it out with the information you have now. It won’t be easy, but nothing worth solving is.
There are still 17 people left in the game and we are in its middle stages. There’s more than enough time to turn things around.”
However we distrust the sincerity of those whom we talk with, we always believe them more sincere with us than with others.
