ok so one of the benefits of being the new kid on the block is i can pretty much ask anyone anything under the guise of "i just don't want the next exile to be total madness - you tell me what you think of your group and i'll tell you mine"

i am being honest pretty much in how i summarize the people in my group with others. i'm also making sure to point out the little things i find suspicious that could point to spyhood. i don't want to be caught with my pants down around my ankles just yet.

don't copy/paste any of this to others because i don't want to blow the trust i'm building with these guys.


so here's what i talked about with Shane (he was just naming people off the top of his head, no particular order):


spies3Shane: Tenchi - He's a very talkitive guy, but I haven't seen him lately. He was very adament about Jennipher being a Spy in the first round, but not so much anymore.


spies3Shane: I'll do Jennipher next.
spies3Shane: During the first round, she was seen as someone who asked a lot of questions, but never answered any. Mainly why Tenchi suspected her, but due to the Jakub/Tyler tie vote in the First Round, she's kind of dropped off the radar.
spies3Shane: Interesting note for her though.
spies3Shane: Two people jumped to the Jakub vote in the revote.
spies3Shane: Along with the original five people, Carrie and Jennipher both joined them.
spies3Shane: Which was why Carrie got votes tonight.


spies3Shane: Carrie.... I've only had one serious game conversation with her, that I'm aware of.
spies3Shane: I don't see her online much, so I don't have a really strong opinion of her yet.
spies3Shane: Like I said though, she switched to Jakub on the revote, and to many people, that made her look like a Spy. Jack made a point of mentioning that if Tyler stayed, he'd get twelve self votes the next time, and would idle out, thus wasting another Exile on him, and only a Spy would want to do that.
spies3Shane: He said that in the chat during the revote. Yet Carrie still voted for Jakub.


spies3Shane: Judith - Judith is stuck in character. She likes to play her age card a lot. Making jokes at her own expense, and in my view, she uses it to dodge questions. That's why she recieved my vote at Exile tonight.



spies3Shane: I'll go with Jessica now.
spies3Shane: At the start she was in character a lot, but lately, she's dropped the facade, still stays in character, but doesn't hide behind it.
spies3Shane: She was very vocal to Carrie about her suspicions of her. I'm not sure what was said, but I heard from both about it.
spies3Shane: Lately she's also opened up a bit more, but when it comes to her thoughts, she likes to keep them quiet, except the Carrie thing obviously. I have no idea what she's thinking.
spies3Shane: She's nice though.


spies3Shane: Jack - He seems very smart. At first, I thought he was very shady though. I had heard he talked to everyone and was very open, but always seemed guarded with me, but now we talk more, and my suspicions of him are dropping. He seems very knowledgable as well.



spies3Shane: I'll go with Reicheru now
spies3Shane: She's pretty nice. She's also really into the game, but oddly she had two penalty votes for lack of conversations in her confessional.
spies3Shane: I'm not sure what she said about it. I assumed she just forgot to post them
spies3Shane: Reicheru is also vocal about her suspicions, and she can back them up. She doesn't just jump on the bandwagon.
spies3Bebe: so reicheru's a thinker, not a groupie? there's more to her than just someone who flirts with tenchi?
spies3Shane: Yeah, if you talk to her one on one.
spies3Shane: She may want to talk to you a couple times though. She didn't just tell me stuff the first time we chatted.



spies3Shane: Now, we'll do Anneliese!
spies3Shane: Anneliese, doesn't come off as a Spy, which is very scary. I feel she'd be one that's hard to vote her. I've never heard her name mentioned yet about being suspicious.
spies3Shane: She's also very nice, and I love talking to her. If she's a Spy, then she's in a good position right now.
spies3Shane: She also says she's very scared of you new people.



spies3Shane: Next, we have... Arthur.
spies3Shane: Arthur isn't on to talk to me much. His first Exile vote was based on someone who signed offline when he signed on
spies3Shane: Thought they were avoiding him for some reason.
spies3Shane: That is why I suspect him a little bit, based on that vote.
spies3Shane: I've only talked to him like twice.
spies3Bebe: ok i'm looking at the votes from exile 1 and he voted for judith
spies3Shane: Yes.
spies3Shane: Who I also suspect.
spies3Bebe: do you think it's an either/or?
spies3Shane: Not so much,
spies3Shane: They haven't shown any hatred of each other.
spies3Bebe: even though he voted for her?
spies3Shane: No one else did, and Judith wasn't a suspect then either.
spies3Shane: If they're both a Spy, and one of them goes, they can use the "well Arthur voted for Judith" logic to say they're safe.



spies3Shane: My last person to name, is also a let down.
spies3Shane: But at least they vote...
spies3Shane: Miles! I have yet to talk to Miles, and he voted for me, thus proving he has no idea what's going on in this game. I'm not a Spy, so he wasted his vote!

spies3Bebe: i'm looking at the exile now - tyler getting 12 votes all by his own doing is just ridiculous
spies3Shane: Yeah, it's sad he had to waste the spot of someone who was interested in playing.
spies3Shane: I can't stand idlers. They ruin great games.

this is the rundown judith gave me but it was all without prompting and i think a lot of it is intentionally vague bullshit.


spies3Judith: Shane is a very intelligent, successful man! I was shocked to see him vote for me. However, he does not speak to me often. He is not on much.


spies3Judith: Anneliese is a bundle of joy! Such an amazing woman. One of the first people that everyone was positive of citizenship!


spies3Judith: Jakub was rather unemotional, quiet, and that is why he was suspicious.


spies3Judith: Reicheru, oh, one of my favorites. I trust her strongly. A very intelligent woman with an excellent life story. Her biography is excellent!


spies3Judith: Tenchi is silly, fun, and rather vocal! You will love him I assure you!!


spies3Judith: Jessica is, oh, such a touching story. You must read her biography too.
spies3Judith: Such a unique character, a nice woman.



spies3Judith: Imagine was never met.

spies3Judith: Tyler came online once.. a nice fellow.


spies3Judith: Carrie is sweet but rather suspicious. That is why she would have gone had Tyler not idled.


spies3Bebe: why do people suspect carrie? she seems like a tough chick
spies3Judith: I believe it was because of her sudden impulse to play the game once identites were handed out. She was never like that!

spies3Judith: Jack is very, very intelligent and is very strong. He disapproves of most of our suspicions, though. Don't be silly with that man!!

spies3Judith: Leena, oh, amazing woman. A tragic and mysterious imprisonment.
spies3Judith: Very intelligent.


spies3Judith: Jennipher was highly suspected early on as well.
spies3Judith: She likes to ask questions and provide few answers, however I believe that is just the way she is.


spies3Judith: Arthur is a grumpy man!
spies3Judith: Voted for me at the first exiling! Very inactive, I've seen him once.


spies3Judith: Miles is quite the charmer I'll say that!
spies3Judith: Very personable.

spies3Jack: And as far as I'm concerned, you can trust Tenchi.
spies3Jack: Anyone else, though, I can't really ensure they're not a spy.
spies3Jack: Tenchi was willing to swap votes with me. Not sure a spy would be willing to throw away a vote like that.

Although it will surely change, I will give a run-down of our initial episode three strategy before the twist was revealed.

From the vote splits from Episode 1, Reicheru deduced that the spies would want to split their votes 1-1-1 (the majority believes there are 3) 1 for jakub, one for jenn, 1 throwaway.

Since we are almost positive that Tenchi is a citizen That leaves us with Carrie or Jack being a spy.

This was mainly our episode 2 strategy before it got pushed back due to tyler (thanks buddy).

So we had the next two exiles set up for Carrie --> Jack and as long as we could keep our group together, we had majority.

I think before we go forth with our strategy, we need to know how the groupings were in the secret mission players.

Also, if you want to know why we had Carrie before Jack, all of the reasons are in an accusitory chat log I had with Carrie. I will post it in the next post for reference.

On the other hand, my current status in the Citizenry lies in the core alliance of three that I have with Reicheru and Anneliese.

We were together from the beginning and still continuing to share insights and suspicions. Our alliance is solidified by Anneliese's Builder role (which may or may not be true).

On the other hand, I have a strong relationship with Jack. I was the one who planned with him in ousting Jennipher. He saw first hand the "suspicious behavior" I was talking about.

As Citizens, I suspect Jessica, and Jessica doesn't reveal to me much. Although I know Jessica as an active Citizen who just pushes for her suspicions and out to get the spies. Brave woman.

in terms of the relationships that the Secret Mission people have, well, it's actually very undefined.

for the first 5 days of the game we communicated only through pms. taylor was superactive that aspect and pmed everyone not just about tasks but also to say hi and chat. as a result, everyone seems to like her.

audrey and sujata stepped up as leaders on the first task. sujata disappeared and trina hates her guts because she thinks sujata tried to take credit for her work (i'm not supposed to tell anyone that, so keep it quiet).

bruce and i have a sort of counselor-anxiety relationship where i go to him when i'm feeling nervous and he helps calm me down. this guy is equipped with a good bullshit radar though and i don't see him spilling his plans to me until he needs votes to put his plans in action.

claire and i didn't really have a defined relationship cause we only talked briefly on aim a few times. she never discussed strategy with me though and i may have told that to trina or audrey.

audrey and i talk but she, like bruce, is hesitant to give out info this early in the game. i do see her coming to me later for votes though unless she starts thinking about who in our group is a spy.

out of everyone i have the closest connection with trina and raphael. raphael's sort of my pawn but i don't think he knows. i think he really will vote however i tell him to so long as i approach it in a very sweet bebe way. he's busy with school work and will be uninformed. in each task he asked me specifically - just me - for help and i expect that trend to continue.

trina's a tough cookie and she sees shadows lurking in every corner, you know? rather paranoid. she has a lot of ideas in her head though and needs a sounding board and that's where i come in. so long as she's off track, she won't be a problem. even if she suspects any of us as spies though she might not do anything about it right away because she thinks that becoming friends with a spy is a super idea. i see her clashing with some players though.

ok i talked to trina today and she and i went over the jessica-carrie confrontation pretty in depth. she showed me the transcript of the conversation that jessica had posted here (of course i did not tell her i had already seen it)

big point: trina believes jessica is not a spy because of the way she confronted carrie. so she took the bait. excellent.



here is one big thing i thought of that frames carrie:

Anneliese: Well, I hope you don't take offense to it, but I can't really disclose that
Anneliese: Let's just say she has had the most suspicious actions of the game

Anneliese: I just know she's very friendly, she also has been accused of asking too many questions without giving her opinions on things

Anneliese: Well, there's Arthur
Anneliese: he's hardly ever here, and for some reason I just do not like him
Anneliese: He doesn't really contribute to the team in anyway
Anneliese: I've heard some people have positive interactions with him, but for me he just seems like scenery
Anneliese: frankly he's one that I just don't care to know about either way
Anneliese: He is on my suspect list for people from our group
Anneliese: but it might just be because yes, he lays very low
Bebe: do others suspect him too or just you?
Bebe: like does everyone dislike arthur?
Anneliese: I don't know - arthur lays so low that he manages to stay out of most conversation too lol


Bebe: let's see we also have audrey in our group
Bebe: audrey has got a lot of spunk
Bebe: she never had done a sudoku before but learned how to do it for our puzzles so she is a smart cookie
Bebe: but i do not think she likes to talk about her suspects much
Bebe: she's very quiet on that

Bebe: so i feel like she's hiding something
Anneliese: that would make sense
Bebe: i think if you talked to her you might understand
Anneliese: We have Jessica in our group, and she reminds me of Audrey in the intelligence sense but she is usually very open as well
Anneliese: I really like Jessica, she is the kind of player everyone should strive to be
Anneliese: If she is a spy, she's doing a great job of motivating the citizens in general

Anneliese: you really have to warm up to her

Anneliese: and he disagrees with the overall group quite a bit
Anneliese: so he is quite the free spirit
Anneliese: and it's hard to get a read on him
Anneliese: however, he is very active
Bebe: do you trust him?
Anneliese: I'm still not sure
Anneliese: I think about it more than anything else in this game, to be honest
Bebe: do you want to trust him?
Anneliese: I don't even know
Anneliese: it's one of those things you have to play week by week
Anneliese: and for each person, Jack is different
Bebe: do people you trust like reicheru and jessica find him suspicious?
Anneliese: I think so.
Bebe: what's your gut telling you?
Anneliese: to wait and find out


Anneliese: Judith is INCREDIBLY sweet
Anneliese: as far as her alignment, it's hard to tell
Anneliese: Judith can be sweet one second, but very powerful and opinionated the next
Anneliese: its' hard to get a read many times
Anneliese: but some people don't trust her because of the swings
Anneliese: she also follows some players very closely, like Jenn and Jess
Bebe: does she follow jess and jenn closely in a "i don't trust them" sense or a "i really listen to what they have to say" sense?
Anneliese: I think the latter
Bebe: so you don't think she suspects them? do they seem to suspect her?
Anneliese: No and no


Anneliese: Carrie, Carrie, Carrie
Anneliese: Queen of the Bandwagon, we like to call her
Anneliese: she will agree with anything you say, which makes her all the more suspicious
Anneliese: she is barely active and doesn't really contribute at all

spies3Jack: Next episode, I told her my reason for doing so, and that I wasn't convinced she was a spy, but that I wanted to give her a heads up.
spies3Jack: She couldn't fathom the thought that I voted her even though I thought she wasn't a spy, when in reality, I told her that she was who I considered -most likely- to be a spy, but that liklihood was still low
spies3Jack: She began telling me nonsense like "You know, Jack, I haven't heard YOU say you weren't a spy"
spies3Bebe: oh boy she must have been mad when you voted for her then
