EXILE DAY. Here's my first Private Message of the day, followed by a VERY interesting convo:

Konichiwa, bijin and bishounen. It is the start of a new day and I have much to share with you.

Last night I lie awake in my bed. I find I cannot sleep with anxiety, so I toss and I turn and I think about all suspects and the conversations I have with them, and two things occur to me.

I say first of all that my thoughts on Judith once again switch from good to bad. Last night I think about Judith, and it seems to me that she cannot be a spy only because of things that she says. They sound like genuine citizen talking... But what if Judith just copies others? We know she does it at least twice, with Jessica, who I have strong feeling is probably citizen, and with Tenchi. Thing is, if she merely repeats what citizens say to her, it puts her in a far more suspicious light.

That said, I am divided on Judith. It seems to me her profile stands out, which maybe spy would not want. I also think that she goes to great lengths to show her character, maybe concentrating too much on this, perhaps not enough on how to find spies. It would explain her attitude if she a citizen.

Jennipher, I also rethink. I look through my conversations with her and I notice that she always seems to evade questions almost abruptly. At first I think this is suspicious, but then I reflect and say: if she IS spy, would she not want us in her confidence? At least make effort to appear as though she is willing to give out information? I do not see this from her. Right now, I think she is probably a citizen, and really scared of saying wrong thing to wrong person. It still feels pitifully inadequate as evidence, but I can do very little on my own.

And then I say, well, I like both fairly well... I would hate to be the one to organise their exile if they are actually citizens. I think also that, if citizens, they may be stronger allies later on than my new choice.

We look for someone who slips under the radar, correct? As I say, I look at each person in turn and the conversations I have with them, and each time I form some definite opinion. Then I come to Jakub, and I think about how we talk to each other, and I get very little. He is perfectly willing to talk, yet he says nothing of substance. And the more I think of this, the more suspicious it looks. If I look for first spy in someone who tries to befriend me, yet in actual fact gives very little away, Jakub fits better than anybody else I speak to as yet.

Also in favor of Jakub is fact that he is likely to be a less strong ally than two women I speak of earlier. Of course, if Jakub has some kind of citizen role, this could backfire badly, but we take risk like that with ANY vote, not just him. And finally, on a personal level, exiling Jakub would bother me less than others perhaps. I am closer to Jennipher and Judith than him. It would not feel right for me to vote either of two women out instead.

This JESSICA convo isn't half as significant as it should be. I have no mouthpiece, no convenient Gindi, Soraya, Davoni or Nicole to work through, without them as a "buffer" I feel vulnerable. Just to note: We have a couple of floater who are very undecided. I stayed quite late last night to get a vibe of what they're up to, but I have nothing much. All I know is they're waiting for a big push.

Shane, Leena, Carrie and Jakub. No chats with Arthur and Tyler.

I think Judith genuinely believes us and wants to help us Rei. She told me yesterday, and conversations with her improved. When me Jenn and Jack remained in chat, she was voicing out her opinions. And they are intelligent and valid. Still, I would keep an eye on her just because she portrays somebody who is too sweet.

Just to be clear, Judith gave me a similar proposal. We should take it, but that doesn't mean we have to let go of all our suspicion with her. I trust you two more than I trust her.

Right now, I have Jenn's name written for exile. And she knows about this. I have suspected her uncanny ability to dodge questions this early on. I would suspect Spies to find it a basic strategy to go under the radar now and let the Citizens kill each other early on.

If I were to suspect anybody under the radar, it would actually be Kari-san (Carrie). I have three conversations with her after the identities were revealed, and I got NOTHING. It was better with Leena where she told me that who she hasn't talked to yet, even on the first conversation. I feel Jakob is trying to play it safe by revealing information to less people, he is likely to be a genuine Citizen.

Looking at the people concerned, my voting preference is Jennipher, followed by either Jakub or Carrie (if we can find a better reason). I'll just have my eye on Judith for now.

I hope to see you guys later. I don't want to think that my vote for Jenn is a mistake. If I can make a better vote, I will.
