Here we go again! You know, after the last Spies, I swore up and down I would never put myself through this again. But what can I say, it's like crack to me! The hiatus helped, I think. Just long enough to make me feel nostalgic. A few early thoughts: - I want to be a Spy. I already won this thing as a Citizen.
- You're really good at picking photos, Sam! That's the kind of look I had in mind. Although once again I look like I need a Prozac. I'm going for perky this time! (Quiet DC! Because I know you'll read this even if you're not in the game. You too, Trey! I can so do perky!)
- Only 15 people? Where's the rest of the cast, Sam?
- Holy unique names Batman! And a third of them starting with the letter J.
- Interesting sidenote after reading the Prologue: I almost used the name Adrian.
- Oh. My. God. I'm currently in the middle of my first conversation, and typing without proper capitalization and punctuation is KILLING ME! This is going to suck.
- $5 says Tenchi is Ben (Derek from Spies2).
- I'm hungry. You probably don't care about that, though...

More random thoughts. - Damnit, Sam, I'm serious! Where the hell is the rest of the cast?!
- I'm a Citizen. Lame. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. But this time I have no role, so I don't have that as a crutch.
- I still have no idea what 'The Collective' is suppose to mean. I know it'll have some impact on the game. Otherwise it's just 'The Infiltration' all over again.
- 14 of the 15 people showed up to the chat. And the one who wasn't there, Judith, I spoke to earlier. Is there no dummy character for the first Imprisonment, or did Sam find someone to play the role for a couple days?
- Those games at the group meeting were pointless and frivolous. Sorry, Sam, I know you try. That's just one man's opinion.
- I think Sam wants the Spies to win this one. Not saying he would influence the game in any way, but it's the only good reason I can come up with for having such a small cast. Especially if it's true that people like Karl aren't playing. Although I think Karl may have lied and is playing.
- I think Reicheru could be Yves, and Leena could be DC. I have no real reason for thinking that, or confidence that either actually is. Just a hunch. But I've never been all that good with hunches.
- So far I'm not feeling the same level of energy I did at the start of 'The Recruitment'. I hope that's not indicative of things to come.
- I'm not exactly sure why I feel the need to do these in bulleted list form.

Bullets are kind of neat. Thanks for posting all those convos. Sorry but I'm exhausted and can't think of anything to say, just wanted to check in and say I'm enjoying watching you in the game and I think it'll be exciting. Can't wait to see what Spies 3 has in store for you!

I guess it's the lack of thought that counts. LOL Thanks, Sam!

Short one. - I don't think Tenchi is Ben, Reicheru is Yves, or Leena is DC anymore. And I've decided not to play Who's Who, that's not the game I signed up for.
- Some of these people are really playing up their characters. And that's all well and good for them. But these conversations about fictional lives are starting to wear on me. Frankly, I don't care about Jessica's son or Judith's cat, for the simple reason that THEY DON'T EXIST! I'm ready for the game talk to start.
- I'm starting to not use punctuation or capitalization on my other AIM name. No me gusta!
- If I had to guess, I think the first person imprisoned is going to be Imagine, which I'm really okay with because I get the feeling I'd hate his/her character.

- I was right, Imagine went, hooray me.
- I don't think Imagine was a real player, much like Elaine and Andrew. Though Sam did raise the bar a little to make it more convincing by having him attend the group chat.
- If Imagine is a real person, then I'm a bit suspect about Judith.
- I find myself wanting to trust Tenchi, Reicheru, and Shane. As of right now, I do not.
- Tenchi doesn't like Jennipher. Feels she is asking much and offering little. Apparently told Shane he's voting for her.
- Reicheru thinks that Jack and Jessica don't like eachother. Says it's just a feeling.
- Apparently Jack and Jessica have talked some stratiegy. Jessica talked about what his "stance is on doing questionable things if they are for the good of the team", refered to it as "out of the box play".
- My one attempt at conversation with Jack went nowhere. I don't like that he doesn't want to talk to me. He's shifty. Something about him I don't trust. I need to get something out of him ASAP.
- I have no idea who I'm going to vote for. If I had to pick right now, it'd probably be Jack.
- I don't think I'm in danger, but you never know. It's imperative I talk to people tomorrow and see where heads are at.
- I hate finals.

- Anneliese - I've only had one individual conversation with her, but she was very plesant. In terms of game speak she didn't give a lot, but she didn't shut me out either. And she came off as funny and entertaining in the group meeting. If she's not a Spy, I think I'm going to like having her around, both for company and catching Spies.
- Arthur - The first time I talked to him he gave me absolutly nothing. I could probably have written down out coversation on a Post-It note. And I write big. The second time was better, we actually were able to discuss something. It was all business, and it was rather brief, but this early in the game I'll settle for that. His current reason for wanting to vote Judith ("when I signed on AIM yesterday, she signed off the instant I signed on") left me scratching my head, though. Note to self: avoid poor timing around this guy.
- Carrie - Who? Not only have I not spoken to you, you haven't posted in the Burg. Do something or get the hell out!
- Jack - Right now, I do not like Jack. First off, I hate his character. I mean a field agent? Named Jack? Please! Secondly, I can't get anything out of him. It's like Rodney redux. And worst off, I'm pretty sure he has talked stratiegy with at least Jessica, and Shane claims he has with Reicheru too. So it's not that he doesn't talk, he just doesn't seem to want to talk to me. I need to get to the bottom of this.
- Jennipher - Seems like a nice girl. Only talked to her once. And that was before roles were assigned, so it was meerly small talk anyway. But it was actual talk. Now I'm hearing from Tenchi that she's claming up when it comes to game talk. Asking questions but not answering them. I haven't witnessed this myself yet.
- Jessica - Jessica's another person I've only had conversations with regarding her character. I'm not ready to condemn her for it yet, but if she doesn't stalk talking game soon I'm going to be suspect. Spies have a tendancy to hide behind their characters.
- Judith - Judith is another who is heavily into character. She has done a little bit of game talk, which is reassuring. The one thing I don't like is that she's got this maternal thing going on. No one is going to suspect the sweet little old lady. Which in itself is suspect.
- Leena - My interaction with her has been breif, but she seems very down to business. That could be a positive or a negative, depends on how she goes about it. Only time will tell.
- Miles - Seems like an okay guy, and seems to have others' seal of approval. But I've yet to have any real one-on-one with him yet. Must do that. Soon.
- Reicheru - Reicheru I like, and is someone I can see myself working with a lot in this game. Hopefully she's not a Spy. She seem very smart.
- Shane - Another of my favorites so far. Right now I see us as being in a similar possition in this game. Which makes it easy for me to turn to him. My perceptions could be way off and we could be on different pages, or even different teams, but I hope not.
- Tenchi - Rounding out my list of preferred players. His character kind of annoys me, but I can look past that. He doesn't play into it too much. He's a bit on the gung-ho side, which could be good or bad. Need more time to gauge if he'll be useful as a player. But I like him as a person.
- Tyler - Another 'Who?'. The only thing you have going for you right now as opposed to Carrie is that you've actually posted in the Burg. I'd prefer to vote for her if I go the inactive route. But your name seems to be coming up that more in that catagory, so I may have to switch it to you. We shall see.

"Oh. My. God. I'm currently in the middle of my first conversation, and typing without proper capitalization and punctuation is KILLING ME! This is going to suck."
I know. I had such a hard time with it at the beginning.
"I'm going for perky this time! (Quiet DC! Because I know you'll read this even if you're not in the game. You too, Trey! I can so do perky!)"
AS IF! You're far too much a cynic.
Perky. Perky Paul?
Oh that just gave me some really funny mental images, including some that involve tutus and prancing.

[/li][li]$5 says Tenchi is Ben (Derek from Spies2). [/quote] Close. Watching Spies 2, Derek was my favorite character. Because he annoyed so many people in the most innocent ways.

innocent? more like annoying in the way a mentally unstable 14 year old boy is annoying when he yells at the teacher for trying to teach him and he storms out of the room.

As much as I wanted to jam a rusty corkscrew through DIM's eye at times during the game, in hindsight Spies 2 wouldn't have been nearly as good of a game without him.
