Day 01: Tenchi: “I'm actually excited by how this game is going to be. I've waited ALL DAY hitting refresh on the front page for six hours.” 26 people checked into the game within the first 15 hours. Some of the 15 in the main game had trouble starting conversations, but Jennipher, Tenchi, Jessica, Judith, Jakub, and Reicheru seemed the most chatty. Opening chat went well. It went eerily quiet as these roles were given: The Builder - Anneliese The Inheritor - Miles The Decision Maker - Shane Spy - Tenchi Spy – Jessica.
Day 02: Jennipher became an early star. On the first day she had been online and chatty with everyone. Jessica created a super-bold plan involving "Lovers" which involved confessing to Miles that she was a Spy. A complicated plan would protect Jessica even if Miles told everyone she was a Spy. It was gently suggested that she hold off on her plan and think about it for a few days. Shane: “The cast for this game is into the role playing aspect a lot.” Tenchi and Jessica are really active and make lots of plots and plans and voice their opinions openly. It's an effective strategy. Some people decide Jack is super suspicious and want him out. Jack fell for Jessica's "Imagine Trap" in which she used the word “imagine” in an ambiguous way to "catch" people who had talked to him. Anneliese divulges her Builder role to Jennipher on the very night she learns of it. Anneliese begins to suspect Jennipher: "When I was divulging the information about my secret ability, she said "Oh... a Citizen's Secret Ability." That immediately confused me, as if she knew there would be abilities of another sort, or as if I posed a threat to her." Anneliese gives Jennipher a fake word. Jessica, Miles, and Jennipher participate in a “Hot Tub Scene” which becomes graphic. Jessica: “As Jennipher and I chat seductively to Miles, the sexy tennis instructor, the ball is now in his side of the court.” Tenchi forms an alliance with Reicheru and Anneliese. Tenchi and Jessica are suspicious that there are only 2 Spies. Jessica: “I think we need to keep in mind the possibility that we are not the only spies. Have you ever heard of games where there are two groups of spies?” Tenchi: “I'm quite confused as to where "the collective" is going to pick up. Maybe Anneliese was telling the truth. The Citizens are building a shelter.”
Day 03: Anneliese divulges her Builder role to Tenchi, Jack, and Reicheru and gives them full information. She asks them all to post the word, only Reicheru does. They suspect Jennipher. Imagine is Imprisoned. Shane, Jennipher, and Carrie begin to suspect Tenchi. Carrie: ”Tenchi has by far been the most outgoing and talkative player but it remains to be seen if that is just his tactic to avoid being seen as a spy.” Jennipher: “At this point it's still hard to tell who is honest and who is really a spy, but besides [Jack and Tenchi] I am planning on keeping my eye on Jessica and Judith.” Reicheru lists 10 out of 13 others as possible Spies: “JESSICA - Probable citizen. TENCHI - Almost certain citizen, possible super-aggressive spy.”
Day 04: Exile day. A bunch of people begin to push for Jakub, who is seen as silent, unhelpful, and suspiciously quiet. The Exile approaches and people are online for hours trying to decide on someone. Many random votes are counted, as some people are in the loop and some are not. In the end a voting block including Leena, Jessica, Judith, Reicheru, and Miles decided to vote for Jakub, thinking he was an unhelpful Citizen if not a Spy. Tyler and Jakub tie at Exile. A live revote takes place, players have 19 minutes to discuss and vote. Jakub enters the chat during this revote. Some people want Jakub out because they think he is a Spy, others want Tyler out to prevent the next Exile from being useless. In the first terrible decision of the game, the Voting Block decides to vote Jakub. He is Exiled 7-5. Shane: “Well, we have just witnessed one of the biggest blunders by a group of Citizens in Spies history.” Jakub: “I may be bitter or angry at some of you now. But it's a game, I'll get over it.”
