I'm not in a good postion. At all.
In fact, I'm screwed.
I belive I've found out several things tonight...
1. I have become much more suspicious in Tenchi's eyes.
2. I have become suspicious in Anneliese's eyes.
3. I have become suspicious in just about everyone's eyes.
4. That really sucks for me.
5. I suck as a person.
6. Slapping yourself in the face hurts. Don't try it. Actually I already knew that one, nevermind.
On one hand, it's a nice way to balance out the fact that I was voted most likely to last the longest, on the other... It sucks. I was planning on making myself seem more suspicious after seeing the award ceremony results, but I think I went overboard... Oh well, I'll worry about that later.
WTF is up with my theories? They suck harder than Vietnamiese hookers on New Year's Eve, and that's pretty hard! (Not that I'd know, having never been to Viet Nam nor experieced the art of sucking on New Year's Eve, nor any other night by which to compare it to). Jack is still suspicious in my eyes, albeit WAY less suspicious than he was about 3 hours ago. I need to get a confirmation from Anneliese but I think that if I pry for information from her now that she's been more or less confirmed for REAL now, that it will make me seem doubly suspicious and really create a danger of imprisonment for the Amazing Mofo.
So what can I do? ...I have no idea. I honestly have no idea, and that sucks. I trust Taylor. I consider Tenchi to be a citizen. I consider Anneliese to be a citizen. I have reason to believe that Anneliese considers Jack and Reicheru to be citizens. Jordan is for sure a citizen.
That leaves Jessica. It leaves Miles. I leaves Claire, Brooks, Matthew. It leaves Arthur, Bebe, and Raphael.
If my assumptions are correct, which it can be logically and reasonably assumed that they are, then five of the above eight people are spies.
So no big deal, right? We'll eventually nab one and put the pieces together and win?
Not so simple. There are fifteen people left right now... Five are spies. Ten are citizens. After the next imprisonment and exile it becomes five spies against 8 citizens. After the next one, 5-6. After that, it will be impossible to win without being 100% right 100% of the time. That means that while the odds are in our favor as far as finding 5 spies out of 8 people, that time is not in our favor at all. No r are we at all capable of reaching a consensus as far as voting goes. Even tonight it was going to be a three way split. I WAS A DOUCHEBAG. My conviction said Jack, but I went with Anneliese because I trust Taylor's judgment and would rather keep an ally, rather than do what I felt was necessary. It's that sort of weakness that loses the game for the citizens. Had I remained firm in my conviction to vote Jack, Trina would not have used her ability. Jack would have been gone. Sure, Trina and Anneliese would still be suspicious mofoettes, but it would not at all be a WORSE situation than we're currently in.
...Unless it can be made into an advantage. Because this scenario DID give me reason to temporarily narrow it down to eight potential spy candidates. Thats a very good number, but unfortunately it's not good enough unless we get it right. We're almost out of time.
I can't show weakness again. I can't appease. I've got to do what's necessary; nothing more, nothing less. I'm both disgusted and disappointed with myself tonight, and I've got to do something to redeem myself in my own eyes.
