In The Prologue we met a man named Adrian who was a receptionist at an important government building in the Burg. Adrian’s day was like any other day, he was playing solitaire, guiding visitors, answering questions, and mentally insulting the dress styles of people in the lobby. Adrian remembered sometime last week in which a carpenter had come to repair the magnificent crystal chandelier hanging high in the air above the lobby.
Out of that chandelier would ooze a potent white nerve gas called VX. This gas spread throughout the buliding, paralyzing everyone who inhaled it. Adrian discovered just before he passed out that this attack had been executed throughout the entire city, with the gas seeping through every single buliding. The city in mass chaos after this unbelievable attack. SAFE: VULNERABLE:

In Imprisonment #1 we were introduced to a villager named Jennipher, who had lived in the Burg all her life. Her story was just one story of how each person’s lives was affected during the resulting mass hysteria. Jennipher responded to the insanity by locking herself up in her apartment, blocking the doors and windows, and retreating into her closet. She didn’t come out until a few days later when she heard the meowing of a cat.
Jennipher met the owner of the cat, and many other new people as the survivors of the attack began to congregate. Many people never came back, and many others evacuated the city, but those that decided to remain gathered and organized on the outskirts of the city. They formed a new society with a new rules. Foremost of these rules was that it was forbidden to enter the Putrid Precinct. This was a 10 mile square area of the Burg, the epicenter of the attack, wherethe gas was still believed to linger in the air. Soon after the Enemy would claim its first victim, Imagine, in a secretive kidnapping while he was out on a jog. SAFE: VULNERABLE:

After a nasty event in the Sky Garden which resulted in Leena’s Imprisonment, a daring villager named Bruce began to explore around the edges of the Putrid Precinct. After much trepidation, Bruce finally began to explore the once-contaminated area bit by bit. Surprisingly, he didn’t catch any diseases and was instead rewarded by collecting a number of useful goods left behind by the others.
He began to explore further and further into the Putrid Precinct, feeling rather relaxed in his newfound and private sanctuary. It wasn’t until he was lying on the grass, full from all the food, that he wondered: If there was a chemical attack here, where have all the bodies gone? Meanwhile, Audrey was snatched up by the Spies in the Burg. SAFE: VULNERABLE:

After a rather informative but dramatic series of events involving a Robo-Whale at the Burg Zoo, which resulted in no one being Imprisoned, the Villagers began to gather their courage and marched straight into the Putrid Precinct to find out what was really going on. In a gorgeous and nerve-wracking video the Villagers followed a Enemy straight into their Headquarters.
They entered the Headquarters and went down the spiraling stairs, discovering a vast series of underground tunnels. There they found hundreds of people jailed behind bars in a massive prison. They also found thousands of people living freely, working quickly as if they were on a mission. What was their mission and how close were they to accomplishing their goal? We’re about to find out. That brings us up to today. If you haven’t yet connected the dots, let me outline it for you. The nerve gas was not a deadly gas. It only knocked everybody unconscious. The Enemy jailed those that resisted underground. There were thousands of people who were a part of this plot that were not affected. They are sympathetic to the Enemy and moved underground during the panic. This is why there were no bodies around – nobody died. They either evacuated the city, were jailed by the Enemy, escaped to the Burg, or joined the Enemy underground.
As teased in the Theme Teaser before the game, the Enemy are Communists. This was a plot by Communist sympathizers to take over the Burg, located in the southwestern US, for the Communists. They are spreading upwards from Mexico and attempting to take over the US city by city.
They are playing us against each other to eliminate the resistance and create the perfect society they desire to have. Once we are all gone, the Communists will rise out of the tunnels and take over the city completely, annexing it to their Communist state. SAFE: VULNERABLE:

Adrian was the first villager to learn of this plan when he was Imprisoned by the Spies 33 days ago. As he was being dragged underground, he first saw the masses of conspirators outside his jail cell. He was thrown into a jail cell with Imagine, who he quickly became friends with. He also became friends with the other inhabitants, as well as with the new inmates who entered every four days: Leena, Audrey, Shane, and Anneliese.
It had been a long time since Adrian was first incarcerated. To pass the time he would imagine what life was like in the Burg, what was going on, who suspected who, and who would be joining him next. Each time a new person joined he got a little more information about what was going on and he would incorporate that into his theories. Adrian had his own ideas on who the five Spies were. If only he could somehow get a message out to the Burg…
Adrian’s thoughts were interrupted as the guards came marching down the corridor. From the distance, Adrian could see a new inmate walking towards him, their head staring at the floor. SAFE: VULNERABLE:

The jail cell door opened. The newest inmate, dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit, was thrown inside.
Jordan has been plucked from the Burg and captured by the Enemy. He is gone for good.
You will never see him again. Jordan, please post Final Words in your confessional immediately. Judge Sam: “Goodbye Jordan.” The Spies 3 Season Finale will be held Sunday June 10th at 7:00 PM CST. It will include Exile #7. The entire event will take 1-2 hours, though many stay on afterwards to discuss the game. All secrets will be revealed. To attend, simply be on AIM at 7:00 PM CST and either IM SorintheSeeker or invite yourself to spies3finale chat at that time. Of course, if we catch a Spy, the finale will be postponed. Votes for Exile #7 are due one hour before Exile begins at 6:00 PM CST. I need time to set up everything and prepare in the event that the game does end. Exile #7, live in chat, will not start until 7:00 PM CST but your votes are due in your confessional by 6:00 PM CST. Tomorrow morning a fun event will be posted for all to compete in during the three days before Exile. Check out the board then for this fun event. That is why we all signed up for this game, to have fun, so let’s let our hair down and relax and enjoy ourselves while we still can. =) It’s time to party!

Oops I forgot to mention this.
Per the rules:
Jordan has not voted twice. He has disappeared, and has not talked to anybody in the last 4-6 days. He has not met his responsibilities. It was always going to be that the second inactive would be taken out via Imprisonment. In fact Jordan was very close to being removed for inactivity several times. No one likes having inactives in the game.
For these reasons Jordan was forcibly removed by Imprisonment by me. The Spies may have not chosen anyone, or they may have chosen Jordan, or maybe they chose someone else. But I removed Jordan from the game for inactivity via Imprisonment. The Spies didn't have a choice.
I don't care how little the game has left, I'm not going to have inactives playing in it even if it is just for three days, which is why this is necessary. Thank you to everyone else, who even if their spirits are down or they are sick of all the disappointments, they still log on, post in the Burg, get on AIM once in awhile, and fulfill their responsibilities. I appreciate it.
