Welcome to the Spies 3 Awards Ceremony!


The people of the Burg have voted in a variety of categories to select the people they want give awards such as "Most Likely to Crack" and "Person You Wish Was Imprisoned." The main event is of course the Official Spy List, a consolidation of all your opinions into one definitive list of people from least suspicious to most suspicious. But that is coming later.


To start off I have a trophy to give to the Best Costume of the Costume Party 2007!

Who is contributing least to the game and not fulfilling the conditions they agreed to when they signed up? Well, in my opinion, every single person is doing this. The power to vote at Exile is the ONLY power that all Citizens have in this game. This is the only tool they have to achieve victory for themselves and their team. Who is perverting the spirit of the game of Spies by carelessly and pointlessly using their vote? Who is executing bad strategies not only for themselves but for the Citizens? Or are these people just really good Spies, because they sure do seem to accomplish Spy-ish goals!

Yes, there isn’t much time for niceties in the game of Spies because things are always happening and time is short. There are always new game events to discuss and theories to work out. Plus there’s the alias thing. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be approachable! I guarantee you people will tell you more information if you are nice to them than if you act snobby. The whole thing is a game, and 5 people are lying to you on a daily basis, but there’s no reason to get cranky about it!


These people are friendly, personable people who others enjoy talking to in and out of the game.

While Imprisonment is a terrible thing and you wouldn’t wish it on anybody, it’s a fact of life. And let’s face it: you’d rather see some people gone than others. Whether you decided you’d rather see your worst enemy gone, your highest spy suspicion gone, or the least active gone, the fact is you wouldn’t shed a tear if it was their name that came up next Imprisonment.

Someone who isn’t a very helpful Citizen might as well be a Spy! Some people fail to realize that if you don’t work at catching Spies, you will lose. Period. It does not matter if you are Imprisoned early or you stick around and lose at the very end. You’ve lost. You might as well quit now.

Person Most Likely to Last Awhile!


List the top three people you think will not be Imprisoned or Exiled any time soon due to the opinions of others.


If your goal, Spy or Citizen, was simply to see how long you could last in the game your strategy might go something like this. Don’t look too much like a Spy or you’ll be Exiled. Don’t look too much like a Citizen or you’ll be Imprisoned. Basically you’ve got to fall through the cracks. It isn’t easy, but if you are very un-memorable you might have a shot. Rarely are people completely inert, often times they come out of their shell near the middle of the game or they are simply eliminated anyway and completely forgotten. If you could pull it off you might get 8th-5th place though. The problem with this is if your side ends up winning you didn’t earn one bit of it so what’s the point. And if your side ends up losing it’s because you were a waste of oxygen. So it’s a lose/lose situation

as for my award speech, i can't wait to talk to a lot of people once the game ends without having to worry if any of you are spies. i think this is a really great group and i am very honored to have people say that i am the one they would like to be friends with, especially cuz there are a lot of other likeable people who easily could've won this. so thank you!!
