EXILE #1 (Revote)
Judge Sam dumps out the shoebox and hands out more pieces of paper to each member of the Burg. Shocked at the result, they hesitate before voting and look around them to see what others are doing. It’s not just a private vote of who is liked more. With another vote comes more evidence and more suspicion – nobody wants to be accused of supporting a Spy.
All the villagers vote, and the votes are counted and verified. Either Tyler or Jakub will be cast out from the Burg under suspicion of being a Spy.

Jakub - You have been Exiled from the Burg under suspicion of being a Spy. It is now your time to leave. Goodbye.
Judge Sam: "What an unfortunate occurrence. We didn’t get to see much of you Jakub and I wish we could have seen a lot more. It is unfortunate that your intentions were misperceived. I understand if you don’t want to do it anymore, but I was very much looking forward to your Voting History – it was gorgeous and useful. I’ll miss the bullet point confessionals, I’ll miss your snarkiness, and I’ll miss what the character of Jakub had to offer. With finals, oversleeping, and being misperceived it just seems like random chance was not in your favor. =( Thank you for playing Spies 3 and I hope you can stomach and watch the rest as the game goes on.”
Jakub: Please post Final Words in your confessional immediately.
Jakub takes one last look at former friends. Saddened by being suspected of a Spy by the people they trusted, they take their supplies and compass and head out into the wilderness, disappearing into the sunset. You will never see them again.
It is now time to find out if this person was truly a Spy. If they were, we will rejoice in becoming one step closer to safety and security. If they were not, we just cast out an innocent soul. Someone just like us. Someone who wanted to eliminate the Spies just as badly as we do.
Jakub was a....
Citizen.
Judge Sam: “This is not how I was hoping Spies 3 to start out with. A true friend, a courageous Citizen, and a helpful hand… voted out over a stinking inactive. I’m trying to think of a more terrible way for things to kick off but I’m drawing a blank. Not only are we still stuck with an inactive, but we lost a crucial asset. Things are not looking up for the Citizens.
If there is anything, anything at all that we can learn from this monumental mistake please speak up. I’m trying to think of positives here, positives for the Burg. With another vote on the record books, at least we have additional information to go on. And I suppose better we screw up now than at the crucial final vote. On the positive side, at least we have nowhere to go but up from here.”
Thursday is the official Day Off. Nothing will be posted on that day. While you are free to do whatever you want (perhaps catch up on confessionals or posting conversations), it is recommended that you just take a break. We all have been working hard for the past 4 days and we need a rest. Plus I have family coming over. There’s no need to burn out so early – we have a long road ahead of us that will require patience and endurance.
On Friday morning there will be a non-live task posted to do over the weekend. To complete this task, you must sign up for a time to meet with me on AIM. The task is mandatory. More information will be posted on Friday morning.
I really don’t know what else to say. I’ve never been quite affected at a first Exile as I was tonight.
A man who has committed a mistake and doesn't correct it, is committing another mistake.
