AKA, My manipulations/plans throughout the game,
Pre-role assignment:
Getting relations with people so I can gain their trust, regardless of what role I get. I tried to develop a certain bond with each person, The bonds are as follows:
Tenchi: Master/Apprentice. I would tell him that I also play DDR, then completely undershoot my skill level and pretend to be amazed by whatever he does, and ask him for advice, or whatever. Anything to make him trust me.
Judith: Mother/Daughter. Pretty self-explanitory. She was the first person I talked to, and I alsways went for her for personal advice.
Reicheru: Sisters in personal development. Both of our backstories were about us being less than honorable people, wanting to change our ways. We talked a bit about our pasts, and wanted to help eachother grow.
Jennipher: Best Friends. Although this bond did become sort of genuine, I wanted to get close to her and talk about stuff, so we could take eachother far into the game. It was very easy since Jenn is such a great person and easy to get along with.
Miles: Lovers. I don't think this one worked out so well. It seemed more like stalker, but I tried. Miles has a good head on his shoulders to have resisted my temptations.
Jakub: Enemy. I don't think he knew it, but I did plant the seed among others that I didn't like Jakub.
Episode 1:
I mainly just tried to ride on my relationships with people. When I heard that Jenn was a target, I tried to defend her by agreeing with Rei that Jakub was suspicious. I tried to fuel people's fires by exaggerating the danger that Jenn was in. It seemed to work pretty well, seeing as how we got Jakub into the revote. I knew that Jakub would come back strong at Rei and I, so I needed to make sure he left, so I swung Jenn onto the bandwagon.
Episode 2:
The first thing I needed to do was cover my tracks after voting to keep Tyler around. Wanting to keep an inactive around is a suspicious move. I tried to contact him and make an effort to get him more into the game. I was hoping it wouldn't work, and it didn't, thankfully, so we got a free exile.
Episode 3:
I also had something I needed to do right away this episode. After being fairly rude to the newcomers when the entered the game, I had to build some relations with them. The first bond I made was with Trina, since she also watches Heroes, and we had common ground to start a conversation. Fortunately, she ended up being a power player in the new group, so I didn't have to make myself suspicious by scrambling around, getting to know people.
As for exiling Judy, we knew that some of the original group members were getting a bit suspicious of her, so we needed our new secret mission people to try to seal the deal, so Tenchi and I wouldn't look like we orchestrated it. The secret mission spies could get away with it since they just came in and didn't have as much of a read as us, and the people who worked with them would be primary targets in our group, so we would have majority, but still not be main targets if the tide turns. As well as getting out a huge threat.
Episode 4
Here is were I pay the price for not posting Anneliese's word when she comes forward with her Jack/Jess and Rei/Tenchi theory. I just stay true to my intitial story and everything clears itself up. Since we can't afford another round for Anneliese to get at us with her powers, we decide to imprison her. We break her bunker, incase it has some secondary effect that protects her individually at a certain number of points. When the imprisonment fails, we know we are in trouble. Then in the clearing up of the 6 point fiasco, Anneliese says that the word can't be posted in a new thread, which is exactly what I did when I tried to break it. Now that I know the bunker isn't broken, we are still in trouble since I have the word, but can't produce the points. Then I come up with the scheme to get Jenn (the next exile target) to post it for me. It was made easier by the fact that Anneliese lied to Jenn about the word. I told Jenn that she could prove herself to Anneliese by posting the word, then I would tell Anneliese that I told Jenn the word and she posted it. Of course thats not what I would actually do. I would get Jenn exiled without voting for her, then claim the point she made for myself. This was very high risk because if Jenn mentioned it, I was through. The plan ended up being a success and I got away with it, unfortunately I DID actually break the bunker before imprisonment, so all my hard work was for nothing.
Episode 4.5
This one is fairly straightforward as my previous "suspicions" of Carrie are agreed upon by the rest of the bunker bunch, and we destroy Carrie. Easy round.
Episode 5
I really dodge a bullet when Anneliese's bunker report gets back because she told half a bajillion other people, so I have many people to hide behind when blame for the broken bunker comes around. Of course we don't even have to worry about this because Anneliese tries to save herself by claiming the builder role was fake. This gives me an easy way to drive a bandwagon into Anneliese to either catch a spy, or confirm 4 citizens with EXTREMELY half-baked evidence that I am still shocked no one called me out on. I had prove connecting people to Anneliese if she was a spy, and made the assumption that it would also mean they are citizen if she is a citizen, which only worked for one of the four people, Trina. So I mount a bandwagon against Anneliese, Tenchi mounts one against Jack, and Anneliese mounts one against Miles. Instead of the colliding, Trina scares the living crap out of me by activating her role of Do or Die, and even after specifically threatening me, she uses it on a useless citizen, SWEET!
Episode 6
Miles inherits the builder and becomes a number 1 priority after giving me the word. I plant seeds of doubt for Miles, although still keeping a tight bond with him (even though I don't think he trusts me). I sign on late for exile on purpose to see that I am asked "Bruce or Miles". I use Miles one mistake of not telling Jordan the word, to turn the whole burg against him and get him exiled.
Challenge #2 I really didn't do much at all due to scrambing to find my damn pencil, and having to right on a pizza box. I just let Bebe and the others do the thinking, and I just tried to get the everthing they asked. Not much manipulating, just being friendly and asking people for pieces, althought I didn't even need to help that much.
Episode 6.5
ANOTHER double exile to survive. I use Trina's theory (which actually turns out to be Rei's, lol) to get support to oust Jack. Another fairly easy exile, although it sets me up for trouble in the next exile. Although I am sure that my arguing skills are good enough to keep me from being exiled.
Episode 7
To come when completed, or at least closer to completion.
