Okay I'll take some from my confessional so you can see my realtime thought process and some posthumous explanation. There were a few reasons leading up to why I did this... 1. I made a call for everybody to put everything that they knew out there and make all accusations, suspicions, thoughts, etc. public. Hardly nobody did that, and half of the ones who did I was pretty convinced were spies. 2. All of the citizens were instantly turned on to voting me. I tried to think of the logic behind a citizen doing that, but I found none. I decided all citizens were stupid (no offense guys) and that we were going to lose, regardless. 3. I was CONVINCED that Arthur was a spy. He HAD to be. My tentative idea was him, Bebe, Jessica, Claire, and some mystery mofo out of Matthew/Raphael/Tenchi/Brooks. The particulars behind the "investigation" of Brooks were not made known to me by citizens, therefore it was my thought that Jessica was given an actual investigation and "cleared:" Brooks and that everyone was dumb enough to by it. I'm thankful that wasn't the case, But I didn't find that until after the votes were due so it was a non consequence. 4. I was pretty sure Claire was a spy, so why did I vote with her? Because in light of Reicheru's Tenchi theories I thought it reasonable that Arthur and Tenchi were both spies, and that they were willing to sacrifice Arthur by setting me up after I worked with then so that they could exile me next and end the game. 5. The citizens pissed me off and I didn't really care what happened ;D
As for my train of thought at the time? Here's my last confessional:
So why didn't I vote Tenchi? If I'm wrong about Arthur, then I'm, sure that it will be a pressing question. Well, I didn't vote Tenchi because I didn't want to. Ss there a chance that he's a spy? Of course, I good one, in fact. Do I care? Nah, not really. I think Arthur is a spy. I've stated my reasons, I haven't heard any legitimate claims against my reasoning. Are there good claims against Tenchi? Yes, he's probably a spy also. I wanted to vote Arthur, though, so I did. I'm in an interesting pickle, though, something I need to untangle and work out very quickly... Claire tells me that Bebe and Jessica keep telling her that I played her, trying to get a strong reaction out of her. I'm still highly suspicious of Claire. What does it mean?
Scenario One: Claire is innocent. Jessica and Bebe, along with Tenchi and Arthur and somebody else are all spies. Seeing that the vote could very well be split between two of their own, the spies are presented with a dubious challenge; Do they try to shift the vote back to a citizen like Bruce? (Apparently they tried that and failed) Do they sacrifice one and hope for the best? Or do they make a calculating decision to sacrifice one in such a manner that a citizen is severely implemented as a spy and is exiled in the next round, ending the game? This citizen is either Claire or me. It's set up PERFECTLY for that to happen. I think this scenario is very likely. If it IS this scenario, then we live to fight another day. This is a likely case.
Scenario 2: Claire is a spy. She's using me to help get rid of Arthur, but Arthur is still in fact a spy. Claire hopes that by getting Arthur out, I regain citizen credibility and she does, as well. This makes Tenchi an easy next target, but leaves plenty of room for the remaining spies to work something out. This is probable.
Scenario 3: Claire is a spy. She just totally used me, Arthur is a citizen and is being exiled and I will feel like an idiot. I see this as being fairly likely. If this were anyone other than Arthur, you can bet I'd slap a "highly likely" on it, but it's Arthur.
Scenario 4: Claire is a citizen. Arthur is too. I commit suicide because there's no way that Arthur is a citizen. After I'm done /wrist I realize that being emo is not cool since I'm a metal musician, and I kill myself again for being emo, which only compounds my emoness. I then am stuck in a downward spiral of emo deaths and the universe eventually explodes.
That's about all I can do to clear it up ;D

Not everyone can be as smart and talented and witty as you, Paul/Jakub. (And thank god for that, otherwise we'd all be the equivalent of amoebas.) ![;)](http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif) [OK, before that comment gets me in trouble - Trey (Bruce), Paul and I are tight and our ribbing is all in good fun]

SPIDEY!!!
And I was worried you'd vote for me since I posted I'd vote for you.
Anyway, it was a crazy play.
BTW: I REALLY feel really emo when I was about to be Exiled, so yeah, I can sympathize feeling like an ass where you feel really hopeless and just want to take two bottles of sleeping pills. Really, after waking up and still seeing my name for exile after I cleared the IP address thing, I was damn pissed. Yeah, being slated for Exiles is NEVER fun. Its really draining and sad, so I'm with you brotha!

Simple. Because he didn't like me. Although you would think with the Gift Giver, Reicheru as pretty much a confirmed citizen, and Brooks as a confirmed citizen supporting me, you would think he would go along with us, but whatever.
Too bad, because I already had planned to get everyone to go after Bebe and Jessica as the next two.

Ah, she would have been gone two rounds later, so close enough. Also, too bad nobody told Bruce that all of the Spies were trying to get him voted off about an hour earlier.

I know Jakub! I even posted at that thread and I don't know why so many people dismissed it.
It is truly a mystery. I mean, the Bebe-Jessica confirmation lie was on since Bebe won the challenge. I think everybody should have followed that since Jack provided SOUND ANALYSIS on how Exiling Bebe would provide most information. The worst part of it all, was when Bebe is about to be Exiled, Jack strikes a deal with the devil... I mean Bebe to save his own ass.

I am in still in shock over what happened at the very last minute. I'm still taking it in, and of course I haven't read any confessionals or conversations about so, I'm still not sure what happened. It definitely ranks as one of the most dramatic, nail-biting moments though. I'm still amazed 5 Citizens all voted for the same Spy lol (no offense).

Arthur, if things didn't go they way they did, I already had a full fledged plan on how I was played by the spies (mainly claire) and that I would have been going full force after her.

Ah, she would have been gone two rounds later, so close enough. Not guilty by reason of we would have gotten to it eventually! But because you didn't vote for her, there was no eventually. Had you exiled her this round, this wouldn't have been the last round. Had this not been the last round, there would have been another Exile. Had there been another Exile, you could have gotten another Spy. Had you gotten another Spy, there would have been yet another Exile. Had there been yet another Exile, you could have Exiled Jessica two rounds later. Therefore, in order to exile Jessica two rounds later, you had to Exile Jessica this round. ::universe explodes::

AKA DAVONI... are, right?!?!?!? Sorry, it's been over 12 hours since you were reminded of that, we have to keep on a strict schedule ;D Yeah :/ I mean I was guessing it would be one of the you're a spy scenarios, but I was hoping it was the good one with Arthur as a spy too :/ I forgot my number one strategy from Spies2; Everything that I believe is true is actually false and the exact opposite is true. If I suspect somebody, they're a citizen, and if I trust somebody they're a spy. But that strategy is no fun.... Voting Arthur out was! ;D

I'm interested in reading Arthur's confessionals after this, since when I knew him in the game he was almost as moronic as Derek was in Spies 2. If he had it "all planned out" I want to see it, because I severely doubt it...

With Arthur, what you see is what you get.
I asked him to play, actually. He's a regular at my mafia board and has a reputation of being a good player. He has a good sense of humor though that never really came out in this game (except when he said he had a secret power that allowed him to eat players - I definitely laughed out loud at that).

Arthur is a character that I would love to hate, but I didn't. Basically he was somebody who spoke one line for every ten lines of spy suspicions and plans I tell him. And he usually says "Yeah, you're right" and immediately goes along with it. Kinda weird if you ask me.
Hmm... I think we can gather a bunch of anti-Arthur quotes in this game. Really, I think the chat with Annelise and Bebe comparing Arthur to Rodney was halarious. And yeah, ripping fingernails = poking your own eyeballs = talking to a wall = talking to Arthur.
Maybe I think it could have been all to keep himself from being Imprisoned, in that case it worked perfectly since we always want to keep the most annoying players to scapegoat. But yeah, it worked against him when it was all important.

I know the feeling, at least instead of gender issues of characters you have... sanity issues with enemies being friends? Well, actually I have sanity issues, too, nevermind.
