"Did she really think Sam would choose the same spy twice in a row?"
Ignore the fact that I was a Spy and I knew perfectly well that Reicheru wasn't a Spy - Yes, I think Sam could choose the same Spy twice in a row. Why not? It's not as if a player can't ask for it. For example, Yves initially refused to play Spies 2 unless he was given a Spy role.
There's really no good logical argument against casting a person as a Spy twice in a row - especially considering that there was a year-long gap between Spies 2 and Spies 3.
Sam's said never to guess how he casts the Spies because he won't explain it to us anyway. So I don't question it. And in future games, I don't think anyone should consider that point to be a valid argument.
Besides, that's why we have aliases - to prevent us from asking those questions in the first place.
(Also Reicheru, Emma was investigated too)

True, but FTR I initially said to Sam that I only wanted to be a citizen for this one. I changed that shortly before the game started, saying that if he had nobody he thought could the job better, he could make me a spy, but I'd still prefer to be a citizen. Obviously that wasn't the case here! (That, BTW, was also when I told him that I thought Adriana and Nicole would do a great job as spies. I should learn to keep my mouth shut!) And I DO think it's unlikely someone would get cast as a spy twice in a row, if only because it seems a one shot thing. I can't say for certain because I don't know how Sam casts his spies (and since this lot have been so successful, maybe Sam will bring one of them back.) It's all down to how the spies are chosen, which Sam (wisely) keeps under wraps. Although that doesn't stop annoying busybodies like me speculating about it.
