Awwww... I think you did well. As far as any of us did.
I think that in many cases you were unfairly maligned (read: Davoni. Come to think of it, if Adriana was in this game and was a citizen, she'd probably have exiled you and then called it "justified".) I think you, me and Jack especially tried our damned hardest to get the spies out. Unfortunately we just clashed way too much. I found Jack near-impossible to work with, and you know how irritated he got with me. As for me and you, Anneliese, I think our strategies in the game were pretty much exactly opposite to one another, at least for the first four rounds. Getting the "secret alliance" together was the first really helpful thing we'd done. Unfortunately it didn't hold up.
As for the others in our alliance - meh. Jordan and Taylor seemed to be complete wastes of space anyway. I'm astonished that Taylor seemed to be regarded as a "power player". WHY?!! The only time I got the impression she was even trying was in the very last episode. Nice one, but way too late.
A couple of points:
1) "Yes, we were wrong about Miles being a spy (A movement led surely by mostly myself and Reicheru."
Actually, after I knew Miles' claim to have a role was correct, I went to great pains to point out that Miles' role COULD be a citizen's role. It was ARTHUR, not me, who targeted Miles. I was all in favour of targeting Bebe, but Jack had done a complete 180 and wouldn't hear of it. At that point we had to desperately scramble for another target, something I expect the spies took full advantage of. Grrrr...
"When I was almost exiled because people found me annoying, but I was Imprisoned as a confirmed citizen"
At that point I think you were a threat to the spies, more so than others, which reflects better on you. Bebe herself put it best in Spy HQ. I can't recall the exact quote but it was something about how unpredictable you were. (Of course, she also called me "batshit"!)
"It pains me to see that people still did not trust me when I knew that Jack and Reicheru were absolutely 100% confirmed. "
Agreed. And I've said what I thought about Jack's exile about five times so I'm not going to repeat myself again! In all fairness, Bebe was the only one who claimed to have any serious suspicion of me towards the end.
"I cannot blame them, but I cannot bring myself to like their decisions."
In part I agree. And I think I'm at fault in one way, especially with Carrie's exile, because I fell into the same way of thinking as many of the other cits did - most notably, I think, Jack.
Too many times we were exiling someone "for information", or refusing to exile someone because their exile WOULDN'T provide us with information. (If that wasn't the case, I would have at least considered targeting Raphael long before the finale!) People were having arguments as to whether it was best to target Bebe or Jessica, for example. When we couldn't agree, we went with a third party - Miles or Jack - two citizens.
I think the citizens overthought things - ably helped along by the spies. I know I fell into this trap a few times. Sometimes the citizens made mistakes that in hindsight seemed really obvious, but weren't then. (Targeting Sage, Nicole, Davoni, Rodney, Judith, Jennipher, Arthur... all of them were fairly obvious citizens at the time they were exiled.) But other times, the citizens seemed to have the answers right in front of them, but then a Claire or a Bebe or a Tenchi would point out how the correct exile didn't really make sense, strategically speaking, and how it would be much better to exile - for example - Jack or Arthur. Again, with hindsight, Damien (Spies 1), Rodney (Spies 2) and Arthur (Spies 3) were practically the anti-spies, yet they each picked up a great deal of suspicion. How'd that happen?
Well, I won't say we always agreed.
But it was fun. Cheerio!
