Suspicious Actions...
Anti-Bandwagon/ Justification of Throwing Away Votes
Suspicious mainly because it divides everyone up, while giving the spies a perfect opportunity to vote together. An anti-bandwagoner may be a frustrated citizen or a spy blaming other spies and innocent citizens.
Examples:
Tenchi: I always believe that the best way to capture a spy/clear a citizen is to talk to them when suspicions are high. Please, stop the band wagoning and find your OWN reasons.
Talk to the people concerned and form a VALID and INFORMED conclusion. I think we are at a point in the game where we can draw conclusions from group movements, voting histories, suspicions, reactions and chat behavior. No more blind voting and blind following!
Get online!
Tenchi again:
Stop hiding under your rocks and following bandwagons. Ive heard of TWO names that come up in this Exile. I am sure some of you will just vote based on secondhand information. I will be after you and grill you if you don't pick your act up.
Tenchi: She told me Brooks, I refused (I promised Brooks not to vote him out after I told him that I think he is a dumb citizen and he said to me "Fuck you". I still believe he a cit though, but I have to stick with my word.)...I WILL NOT BE MANIPULATED. I can do my investigations and reasoning. NO BANDWAGONING. Three, I keep my word to Brooks, since I told him I won't vote for him this Exile.
Reicheru: (on throwing away a vote) And to vote someone because you believe them a spy, you first must believe someone is a spy. At that point, when it becomes time to vote in the exile that eventually reveals Jennipher to be a citizen, I am not convinced of anybody as a spy OR a citizen. I was convinced of Judith, it is hard to trust yourself after you get it that badly wrong.
Begging for Gifts/Reveals of Roles:
Why? take away gifts from citizens and target true citizens.
Examples:
Arthur is for it: I don't have one. Sam said that certain people may get clues or hints as to who the Spies are. I think it's about time that we get that information public. I would be willing to be the sacrificial lamb and relay the information to everyone out in the open. Nothing has been working so far, people are generally clueless, so I need to take charge.
My final comment. This will most likely be the only chance you get of someone willing to take the hit to help the Citizens overall. It seems that some people like Anneliese have come up with half-ass voting strategies to just survive deep into the game. I play to win.
Bruce is Against this: the predicament is, of course, that who's to say Arthur isn't a very brave spy taking a big risk by being so out there? (just throwing it out there as an option, arthur, needless to say i don't actually suspect you right now) i don't have any special roles either (sucks, doesn't it?) but if i did, i wouldn't be telling just anyone, i don't think any citizens with roles should feel pressured to telling anybody about their roles. none of us have any idea how many are out there, or what they even do, but as whoever has them start to trust people, it will eventually come together. it just seems incredibly dangerous to let every role be known publically, we the citizens might find it helpful, but obviously the spies will, too., and we don't want that!
Tenchi is for it:
Just a thought.
At the case that everybody who has a role comes out, with descriptions of their roles, then I guess it would be easier to strategize.
To note:
1. The Spies cannot imprison everybody at the same time, and
2. We can have a set of confirmed Citizens.
Could this be a valid proposal?
Arthur again:
If I am a spy, the game is basically over for the Citizens. But that's a risk that the people with abilities have will have to take. Also, I'm not going to reveal who has the information, or any roles in general. I just want the information that these people have.
Matthew: Can i have a role? Pleaseeeeee =D. I want one, because like, everyone else seems to almost have one.. You have no clue how low id go to get one. I just think its cool to be able to have a "special power" seeing as im a comic book nerd =P. (a hawt comic book nerd =P). You have no clue how badly i want one lol.
Claire:if it makes you feel better i have nothing either
Tenchi: If you help around more, it would be awesome... ><
Long absences in the face of drama:[/b]
Why? duh so much easier to duck out... otherwise you respond to accusations and such and get yourself in more trouble.
examples
Jessica (during bunker/builder chaos):
It was a long weekend with Victoria Day (Canadian holiday) and I had friends over the whole weekend. I tried to check in every now and then for updates, but I didn't have time to get onto AIM and have conversations and whatnot.
HOWEVER - she did follow up with a request for questions.
Bebe:
sometimes a girl just wants to write in her confessional without making people think she's going to sign on aim. and sometimes a girl just leaves her computer on and doesn't want people to think she spends too much time online. poo poo at all the fuss.
Who has suspected (or not) who over time....In the Burg.
Bruce: that who's to say Arthurisn't a very brave spy taking a big risk by being so out there?
Bruce on the bunker debacle: the only way i can see this as even being conceivably made up on anneliese's part would be if the five of you are the five spies and were running with this plan together, which is very doubtful (but if you are, i commend you all!).
Bruce: Arthur has adamantly defended Bebe and Jessica both here today. Are they all spies? Not necessarily, but it is SUSPICIOUS, and it's one of the VERY few leads we have now that could actually go somewhere.
Bruce: As a subnote, WE VOTED ARTHUR AS THE MOST SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN THE DAMN BURG! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ALL TAKING HIS ADVICE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
You're a spy in my mind, care to tell me why I should change it?
Bruce: I'm almost willing to take the plunge and say that I DON'T think you're (BEBE) a spy, but saying that would also be saying that Jessica is not a spy, either, and I don't have any reason to believe that. So rather than defend yourself, I'd rather see you defend Jessica, because if Jessica is a spy, you are. If she isn't, you still could be, but that's a lot better than the alternative.
Bruce: Brooks. You've been pretty shady for most of the game.
Claire: Annelise (I just want to know, if she lied to me about something. how can I trust her now?)
over reacting to annie's reponse: WTF I'M NOT A SPY DON'T F'N SAY THAT, I'M JUST TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THIS TO HELP US OUT. DON'T BE SO THREATENED BY ME TRYING TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON TO EXILE A DAMN SPY! I THINK I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO ASK A QUESTION! If your ok with it, you can just PM me or we can talk over AIM.
please note that claire does a LOT of this.
Claire: (DEFENDS BEBE) it just doesn't matter that bebe was the one that had to ask...unless she's lying about jessica, which can't be proven unless one of the two is exiled
Claire: umm I do believe I told you I would be fine with voting for raphael but i wanted more evidence like we have against Arthur and Bruce
Arthur: I'm voting either Bebe or Miles.
Arthur: Anne/Jack/Reicheru/Jessica voted the same again....
It's really hard to decide between that whole group and Miles/Bebe.
Arthur: For the record, I have accused Miles and Bebe publicly, the next two I would suspect would be Jessica and Jack.
Arthur: I will not vote Bebe out.
Arthur: Even if Jack goes and he's a spy, I would still not be sure if Reicheru was one or not.
Arthur: She said Jessica is a citizen, and I happen to believe them both (She=Bebe)
Arthur: I guess I would even be willing to vote Brooks out...But whatever you do, DO NOT vote Bebe.
Arthur: (Defends Bebe, Suspicion on Jack): Watch, after Bebe is revealed as a Citizen, Jack will come up with another detailed theory as to why I defended her, and I end up getting Exiled next.
Arthur: I'm voting Matthew.
Arthur: I voted for Jack the round that Trina used her ability.
Arthur: Anyways, I'm going to listen to Tenchi and change my vote to Jack. Also, thanks Bebe for not defending me at all.
Reicheru: (from arthur) Reicheru urged me to vote Carrie.
Reicheru: Arthur, you weren't anywhere near the top of my suspect list, until now.I don't believe a word you or Tenchi are saying.I don't know what your agenda is, whether you want to kill Jack or save Bebe
Reicheru: I do not start the vote against Miles. I specifically say I do NOT want to vote for Miles, because it is risking taking out a citizen with an ability.
Raphael:
(11:28:39 AM) spies3Raphael: I do have one question though. At the beginning of this episode a lot of people suspect Matthew. Why has that changed and no one isn
(11:28:41 AM) spies3Raphael: 't
(11:28:49 AM) spies3Raphael: even paying him any attention?
Bebe:
(Arthur's Words)Basically, Bebe believes that Brooks and Jack are Spies together, and it makes sense that Miles would be one as well.
Bebe:
spies3Bebe: i think tenchi is also a citizen
spies3Bebe: jack made us switch
spies3Bebe: i think jack did it to protect brooks
spies3Bebe: cuz miles said jack was SO SURE
spies3Arthur: Miles said that?
spies3Arthur: So maybe that's 3 spies
^FAKE CONVERSATION?
Tenchi: Why I am STILL voting Jack
Tenchi: I'm changing my vote back to Jack.
Jack on Bruce: I asked him if he'd be supportive of an Arthur exile, and he said he would be 100%. Again, doing this would be stupid if he were a Spy, because it would narrow down the list of 3 suspects to two if Arthur wound up being a Citizen.
Jack on Arthur: So who do I think I will exile? Arthur. He pushed hard for Miles. He pushed hard to prevent my plan with Bebe from going through. And he pushed hard to have me Exiled. He pushed to have players reveal their roles to him early in the game. I have yet to see one good thing that Arthur has contributed. Jessica at least has the slight favor of having the public backing of Bebe's investigation, so I'll let her be for now. (later he recants his accusation of Arthur).
Matthew Agrees: This seems like a good plan to me, HOPEFULLY, itll work, but im with ya here Jack.
Jessica:
I suspected both Jack and Bebe prior to this episode, so this vote will be very tough for me to decide on, but for the moment I am leaning towards voting jack. But it is just leaning, it is in no way set in stone.
*see are you afraid to read this for more suspicions as everyone as one.......
WORDS OF WISDOM FROM THOSE WHO ARE GONE.....
Jack: Unfortunately, it's inevitable to give the spies power after enough time passes...
Jordan: If you do decide to take the time to write out what I'm assuming will be a very lengthy report, please don't cover anything up or leave anything out. Remember; only the spies have something to hide in this game.
Anneliese: Me being eliminated doesn't clear anyone. LET ME REPEAT THIS - me being eliminated, doesn't clear anyone.
